I currently have an Omni LT in my current home and just purchased a larger home that has an Ademco with ~60 zones hardwired.  I am happy with the Omni and use the WMC interface a lot and have a couple hard keypads and one in wall touchscreen.  I use nextalarm for VoIP-based monitoring and am also very happy with that service.

In my new home, I want to use the existing hardwired infrastructure, have the option to add a few (preferably wireless) motion sensors and add in security cameras (6-8) and want the alarm and camera control and viewing available via A/V distribution (I have HDMI distributed to sets throughout) and also via iPhone/iPad and (2nd priority) Android.

I have been looking at OPII and Elk and then trying to determine if I use something that CQC in front of it to give me a better UI.  I might also need some minimal audio distribution (in my current setup I have a B&KCT600 with in-wall keypads but in the new place I can go with something more basic).  Any suggestions for security + camera 1st, audio distribution 2nd?

My ideal is something that could also tie in with the same app/front-end/touch panel with a whole house RF remote system but I haven't found the perfect setup.  I currently am using URC RF hard-button remotes and want to move to something that support DIY programming and can use iPhone/iPad and Hard Button access.   Been looking at RTI and iPad software/global cache solutions.  I realize this is an alarm forum but if anyone else has been able to tie it all together and can share some advice that would be great.
If I am mainly looking at Alarm

Personally, depending on the budget, I would go with the Elk, as an OPII is 3X the cost and IMHO, harder to program and get flexibility out of.

Integration of A/V and Cameras would determine the true functionality and hardware choices, however a TS on the M1 is pretty flexible, however I believe HAI might have a slight edge on it there, however an Elk TS is more than capable.

I would, however, strongly suggest keeping the cameras separate and then use an IP interface to connect/view, and then decide if and how to view them on a TS or similar.

Another option would be to use an XEP and go in via another interface, either Android or Apple based.
