Hi there

I have a AFP-200 system and have extra detectors and monitor modules. I will be installing a seperate NFW-50 and am curious as to if I need to purchase the NP-100 series detectors and NDM-100 monitors or if I can use the FSP-851 and FSI-851 and FST-851 detectors? also ca I use my LCD-80 annunciator panel or do I need to upgrade this as well?

If I can, what downfalls would there be to using this older technology besides some minor detection improvements.

Thanks!

You need the listed devices for the Fire Warden, others will not work. You will also need to replace the LCD-80.

The Fire Warden is basically a re-branded Firelite panel.

Honestly, the best way to move from the AFP-200 would be to migrate into a NFS2-320, then you'd be able to migrate devices and components better.

I'd like to be called sir at least once without being followed with "you're making a scene"

As the above poster said the NFW-50 is only compatible with NP-100 smokes NDM NMM mods and the anunciator you will need is an N- ANN-80 . Using standard Notifier devices will cause issues such as intermittent invalid replies. The firewarden panel is a rebranded firelite and works n CLIP protocol.  Although fire lite devices are compatible with fire warden, they are not UL listed t work with it therefore should not be used.
