Hello all!
I've had my Honeywell/Ademco LYNX Plus system for just over a year now and about 2 months ago, the speaker blew. It still works but is very raspy and when the alarm is triggered, it just sounds like a big muffled mess.

I've looked everywhere and cannot figure out how to get a replacement speaker for this unit. I have found the manufacturers link, but it doesn't offer any way of purchasing one.
The model number on the back of the speaker is:
CLS50R17-16F3-T600-C26W100R

Any ideas???  Huh?

Thanks!

No direct way to purchase components from the manufacturer.

The only option would be to find a suitable replacement from a component vendor and brew your own replacement.

Thank you for the information. Any ideas as to where I might be able to find a comparable replacement? I have found some that could work, but I'm confused because there are 3 wires on my current configuration and all that I've found have 2 (pos & neg), I'm not sure what the third wire is for.

A retailer such as Digikey or Mouser or similar, possibly even Grainger may be able to help. Otherwise, you're looking at a real over the counter electronics shop (not the 'Shack)

The 3 wires on the current speaker sounds like it is a siren rather than a speaker. If the wire colors are white, red, and yellow you have a siren not a speaker. The white wire is negative and red is positive for a warble tone, the yellow is positive for a steady tone. Try connecting it to a battery to verify that it is a siren. If it is a siren and you replace it with a speaker you will also need a siren driver.

Highly doubtful it's a speaker or siren connected directly to the panel, as the panel is extremely current limited.
