We had a power outage due to a storm today.  When the power came back on, the mini-silencer would not shut down and there are no lights at all on the keypads.  We tried to reset the code, replaced the back up battery.  Still no luck.  I'm sure this has been addressed in this forum somewhere but I'm not finding it.  Any help would be appreciated.

Try loading in the arm/disarm code by pushing the load switch on the top left of the control panel to the right, then enter code and push switch to the left, if that does not work power down panel transformer and battery then power back up, and then try putting in the code again.

Is there a certain way to power down?

Unplug transformer and battery in control, then power back up.

I don't believe we have anything to unplug.  There is a box in a closet with the battery.  This is a very old system, never been upgraded. We also pulled the fuses in the control panel-still cannot get any lights on any of the key pads.

Open up that box in the closet look at the top right terminals, on the schematic it says 16 VAC wherever that wire goes it is your transformer, it should be normally plugged into an outlet, track the wire and see where it goes.
