I'm getting some mixed messages about the concord panel being able to power 3 x Sentrol Glass Break sensors directly.

I also have 3 hardwired magnetic doors sensors already hardwiredon the panel and a bunch of wireless sensors.

I've seen suggestions that I use a seperate power supply to power these sensors. However, I'd prefer to wire directly to the panel if possible.

Any reason this can't be done for power concerns?

Would I use the power of the hardwired inputs? Off an aux source?

Any info would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Darron

concord 4 can handle one amp of power output. Check your make power ratings on each device and add em up. 3 glassbreaks shouldn't be a problem unless you got lots of powered devices already.

Thanks for the response.

And I assume this means powering it off the main wired alarm inputs?

Edit:

Figured it out. Power the sensors off the +12v tap for system. Everything is working fine after the install.
