need help on a ranger 7600

Hi there, i moved into a house with an old system- ranger 7600.
I have no alarm codes, but i do have the user and installation manuals.
The master code in the manual don t work. I want to know if  there s a way to hard-wire reset the system.

Sorry for the delay.  Very busy day, so little time.

Without the "Go to Program Code" it will not be possible for you to default the panel.  On page #6 of the install manual details the procedure. 

Unless you have a 8950 Programmer or 9075 Smart Programmer you have little other choices.

The keypad procedure would be as follows:\

     C  0  0   9  7  1  3  9  1  0  #

That will default the panel if the Program Code is 9 7 1 3.  Otherwise is is locked.

Thanks for the info, but the system uses the 8601 led keypad. The 9713
code also don t work. I will try my local security people or the nearest bin.

Before you have your local guy come out ask them if they have the programmer for the 7600.  It would be very helpful.
