We have a moose mpi-775 alarm pad. We have the siren on the front of th ehouse. nothing else. dad installed as a panic siren if something happens to flag down neighbors. It went off today and wont turn off. how do iget it to disarm? Note: to set it off dad said push * and # at same time. to disarm i tried entering the code and then # but it still kept going.

Any ideas? My dad'd dead or id ask him

Welcome to the forum.

If the siren sounded without the system being armed OR without the Keyboard panic, the code may not reset it.

That said, try your code again, if it doesn't work, try the default code (1245) in case the system was defaulted by a complete loss of power.

IF neither code works, you will have to silence it by removing power:

Locate the power supply and disconnect the battery
Locate and unplug the low voltage transformer

Remember, if you remove power the entire system will be inoperative.

If you don't have time to do it right the first time ...how are you ever going to find time to do it over?
