Just looking for information on Life Safety Monitoring Contracts
between the Dealer and End-User.

In other words the "I've Fallen and Can't Get Up".

Is there a seperate contract, or clause, in conjunction with the standard monitoring (end user) contract?

not a bad question, but I think that is an issue that would be better addressed on a "per company" basis.
Even the most basic alarm system has a "medical panic" feature, but the "I've fallen and can't get up" deal is more like 2 way live communication
and some companies may charge more for this feature.....
sorry, but I can't give a "broad brush" answer for this one

My company does both burglar and medical monitoring for customers. We normally charge for the burglar monitoring depending on how many devices they have , what type of devices(fire, temperature, water) and what type of warranty they pay for. We also normally charge an extra $25 a month and installation fee for adding the medical monitoring. We install a two way device station right into a phone jack and give the customer a pendant they can press. As with any agreement we are not liable for anything.
