Not knowing how you plan to use it, mount it, wire it, power it, the simple answer is: Yes

i'm asking about the wireless BX-80NR which works on 868MHZ with the simon XT wireless receiver

In a hardwired mode it will work with just about any alarm system.

In a wireless mode it appears that according to the install manual (that I just skimmed quickly) you would install a compatible transmitter inside the unit and wire it to the hardwired terminals for an alarm output.  I have never used one so simple answers is the best I can do.

Don't know where you found the 868Mhz, I didn't see it in the manual but I was just skimming.

The Simon XT operates on 319.5Mhz in the US.  Other parts of the world I have no clue.

But now that I see you are in Mauritius Island somewhat off the coast of South Africa I seriously doubt that I can effectively answer your questions.

If you need more detailed answers you would need to contact the manufacture.
