Ademco 20p, 6160rf and various sensors/ contacts.

I ran Wynn 22ga solid 4 conductor wire for whole system and have 4 colors, green, black, red and white.

The only place I see colors specified is for the keypad.

Is there a standard or generally accepted practice on this?  JIm

You want to connect your kp to you control panel the proper way. Green to G and White to Y on both KP and panel. Black to -AUX and Red to +AUX. You do NOT connect any devices directly to the BATT terminals.
Hope this helps. Good Luck!

 Thanks Guy's

Red + Black - seems to be universal in DC wireing.

The keypad appears to be obvious. But seems like every time I assume some thing in an alarm system, I'm wrong.
